Big Talk
Purpose
Collaborate with the AIGA SF Interactive Committee on an interactive installation for the opening night of SF Design Week themed Question Everything. Our goal was to engage event goers with an opportunity to repurpose politically-charged language and contribute to a collective visualization of activism.
Form
An 11.25' x 7' magnetic wall and accompanying website
↑ The installation features words sourced from Merriam-Webster's most-searched terms from the 2016 U.S. election and of all time. We thought a combination of charged rhetoric and more enduring terms would inspire novel thinking and phrases.
↑ The art direction played on the asterisk, which hinted at both patriotism (the stars on the flag) and censorship.
↑ No project is complete without swag, right?
