I’m Anna, a visual storyteller who builds brand identities and simplifies complex information through design.
I have a background in journalism✏️ and art 🖼️, which together inform my passion for conceptually-driven branding and publication design. I specialize in systems thinking and data vis, and have a soft spot for emoji.
As part of a cross-functional creative team at Block, I lead the Systems Design team on crafting brand identities and storytelling for the company and its businesses. More specifically, I create and manage base brand elements and resources, build scalable systems and workflows, and design dense content like brand guides and data reports.
Outside of work, I raise twins, design for nonprofits and Kazoo magazine, and explore the outdoors by foot, bike, or skis.
